You can't see but there is a barracuda at the bottom of the bait tank.
No one could tell us why, so we worked out a theory that it's there to keep the bait lively?

Re: 7.29.07 Children of the Troops Charter PHOTOS

Martha, Thanks for coming and taking the pictures. & thanks to all the San Diego Rod & Reel Club members that took time out of their weekend to come out and be volunteer deckhands.

I know all of the kids had a great time and all well behaved saying things like, "excuse me or sir or miss". They we all very respectful which was very nice to see and made this trip feel even more worth while.

But it's guys like you that fish our "Big Fish Tournament" that help make these "Children of the Troops" trips possible. Our tournament is the biggest single fund raiser of the year. Without you guys fishing the tourney there are no kids trips. (BTW we are non-profit so you can write it off) Sorry I always got to find a little of that Papa Jew angle.

Whether you can fish or not please join us at the Bali Hai this Thursday Aug. 2nd, 6pm for our "Big Fish" Seminar. Not only is it your last chance to signup and get the early bird sign up price. We will also have a great raffle with thousands in prizes. So if you can't fish the tourney (Aug 17-19) come down and get in the raffle and have some of Pep's great fish taco's.

Re: 7.29.07 Children of the Troops Charter PHOTOS

Thanks for posting GM.

I absolutely LOVE seeing pics of kids fishing, with those big 'ol shit eating grins on their faces.

As far as I'm concerned - that's what life is supposed to be about.

Awesome post.

That future BDer.....are you sure that isn't Sneekee?

I bet that boy was walking on air when he pulled up the goat.

Wish I could have seen that.

Good stuff Martha. Funny how kids love to play with bait.

I want one of these sweatshirts.
