Another vote for the calstar grafighter, 7 foot, 20-40 lb class... A shimano torium is a nice reel for the money, 6x retrieve etc... and wont crush the wallet

Calstar 700xh, the perfect Raider throwing rod. Pair with a Torium 20 or a Trindad straight 50# mono, no need for anything fancy here.

9 foot stick
Trinidad 30
Straight 40lb mono

Cuda has it.......

You can throw a whole lot further than the folks with 7 foot sticks and since wahoo have a wicked first run and then run out of steam, the extra rod length doesn't hurt. Now if you end up with a larger yellowfin on the other end, prepare for a exhausting fight.

I once saw Spike get a 150lb yellowfin with a Ulua and a Newell, it wasn't pretty.....
