"In the first place, we should insist that if the immigrant who comes here in good faith becomes an American and assimilates himself to us, he shall be treated on an exact equality with everyone else, for it is an outrage to discriminate against any such man because of creed, or birthplace, or origin. But this is predicated upon the person's becoming in every facet an American and nothing but an American...There can be no divided allegiance here. Any man who says he is an American, but something else also, isn't an American at all. We have room for but one flag, the American flag... We have room for but one language here, and that is the English language... and we have room for but one sole loyalty and that is a loyalty to the American people."

Re: Branmans' Royal Polaris trip......

From the 2/13/07 "current conditions" report on the RP website......

We would like to say that the luckiest angler on the boat so far is number 11(Brandon Kreutel), he is having a great trip.

I'll take being lucky anytime......

Re: Branmans' Royal Polaris trip......

Brandon had such a tough trip last May, number 11 was horrible to him. Now he's eleven again, and having a much better catching trip.
My amazement last May was how Brandon handled it. Not one cross moment, still laughing, still a joy to fish with. That's what I aspire to be.

Re: Branmans' Royal Polaris trip......

I guess I have no clue whatsoever you are trying to say Stan? Truly, you lost me at the BS. There was no BS. Stas is the same way. He'll have a slow trip, same demeanor, same smiling joking guy. I'm there myself now. I really don't give a rat's ass if I'm having a slow trip.

Of course, like December, when I'm having a great trip, I'm thinking I know something. Then I have a slow trip, and my ego gets back where it belongs.
