I fished the Apollo on a 2.5 day charter. Great boat, good crew.

Re: the apollo

nice boat...kept up....no air conditioning. Not a problem for a day or two. 5 day trip with no A/C in summer? It's your call.

JJ very knowledgeable and friendly.

I have fished the Apollo with JJ on 5 and 6 day trips in the Fall with 10 /12 fishermen. It was one of the best fishing experiences in my 71 years.
One afternoon fishing Guadalupe I was all by myself on the stern fishing alone with JJ for Yellow Fin Tuna. JJ looked at me and said ("It doesen,t get any better than this) The boat has about 6 staterooms and open bunks for 32 passengers. No closet/shelves for my clothes or a wash basin in the stateroom but I slept alone in the forward stateroom with four bunks so I had plenty of room to stow my gear. The cook would feed me any time I was hungry and while fishing he would hand me food through the porthole so I did not miss the bite. I love this boat and I hope the APOLLO remains my secret. Good luck to you if you do find her.
