It would make a nice wahoo bomb reel, but there are tons of less expensive choices.
I guess you can tell I'm not crazy about Torsas huh?

People can make cracks about Torsas, but I have a blast with mine I used mine for yellowtail at alijos last year and also straight wound some makos to the boat locally with it. It is not a "casting reel" but it has unbelievable cranking power for a one speed with a high gear ratio.

I guess you can tell I'm not crazy about Torsas huh? | I see the Torsa as being to Shimano as the Edsel was to Ford.........nice idea but never found it's niche in the market........single speed fish killers......Accurate.................just my opinion

Keep it just in case you are in smaller fish and they wont eat the heavy line. Youd rather have more rigs than you need then not enough just for the cows.

Sell it and buy 2 reels. 1 for casting and 1 for yoyo.

I don't own one and probably wouldn't buy one.

With that being said, I hooked and handed a wahoo on one and it is like butter. They reel so smooth and effortless even when bit.
They cast fine, but I can see why people can't cast them.
Keep it and fish wahoo with it and make your own decision.
Good luck
