| American Angler 5 day
Unreall trip. Left @ 1pm on friday for an expected long haul to the grounds. We get about 10 miles south of nados and come upon 6-8 killer whales giving some dolphin a very hard time...Pulled the boat up for quite the show. At about 5pm we hit an WFO albi bite for 3 hours. Needless to say, the boat was stuffed. Started with 25lb up to 60lb. All this at 47 mi south of sd. The next day was a slow pick at Yellow Fin Tuna. Headed to G-lupe island for 2 days of bliss killing many large Yellowtail. 40lb test worked good with most, but I got rocked more times then I could count. 50lb test seemed best. Left lupe to head home and at 100 miles south of sd we hit the motherload of albis again to the point that we limited for the 23 of us. The crew even gave us a show at the end catching about 20 fish in 5 minutes using 100lb test. Had all on board clapping and cheering. Thanks to Jim (Crystal Pier)who set up the charter and all the gifts for everyone and the whole AA crew. They are the best..
Bobby

Cool report, i like the how you reported the Whale/Dolphin show. Everytime I go out I seem to see something that makes me appreaciate nature in the wild. It makes Sea World boring to me I guess thats why I dont go.

| I can't stand it!
Our 5-day on the American Angler leaves on Monday and I'm absolutely losing my mind waiting to go. Going with a couple buddies from O'side. Trip is sponsored by Ken's Custom Reel. We've been talking about this trip all year long.
Thanks for the report and the advice on line size!

Nice fishing with you again Bobby. A good trip for you is when I don't leave you with head lumps from my acid rods!
Trip again was outstanding due mainly to the great crew and great passengers(cept one!) Not the Blue Fin Tuna we've caught in the past but still the best trip I go on every year. Sure got our fill of albies and Yellowtail.
PS-do you really think Stan could handle this trip???? We'd have worn him out by the end of the first day!!!!

Sounds pretty awesome... I'm leaving on the 25th on the Polaris Supreme for a 5 day. Hope we get to Lupe as I've never been there... maybe we'll get into some Blue Fin Tuna's too!

| Gearing for next year
Awesome trip it was. I know your Uncle Mike as I have fished with him 3 years in a row on the same charter (catches fish well and cool to boot). Jim, thanks for going "OVER"my head, great fishing with you again, and I think Stan would fit in perfect. I'd introduce him to Fish Lube Berry for sure.
Till next year, BP
