skiff trip

hey guys

my dad and i were thinking of going on a skiff trip late this year or some time next year. i was wondering what boat would be the best to go on and when would be the best time to go. any info would be appreciated.

There's only a couple of these that run a year so choosing one shouldn't be difficult. Royal Star has them and maybe the Polaris Supreme. They're summertime trips.

By skiff trip you mean jumping in the skiffs and fishing calicos and yellows in the kelp right? Or do you mean jumping in the skiff when you hook into a big tuna (there's plenty of those trips in the winter)?
