Big fish rigs in early Novemnber..??

I'm leaving on an Intrepid 10 day next Wednesday and have been thinking of leaving the heavy gear at home...I just returned last week from an RP 10 day and never used anything above 60 pound test...What's the consensus??Take a heavy rig or leave it at home..I'm just trying to cut down on the rigs I take...

Cool, I'm working that trip John.

I think bring the big gear. I hope these winds have cooled the water enough that the big ones will bite. We will give those at least a day or two provided we have the weather window. One 100# rig, and a 130# rig is what I would recommend.

Well since you can't go back and get the big rigs, take them with you. But that is just my opinion. Good luck, I hope you get the cows. I am on 11 day American Angler trip leaving Dec 8th
