I was there last week on the Islander. We were at Lupe' when the call came in that we had to leave. We got 2.5 days of fishing in. 170 Yellow Fin Tuna to 97lbs. Then went to Cedros for 20 Yellowtail. Got our butts kicked all the way home. Took 48 hours to get back from Cedros. 300 miles or so.

Now, that sucks balls!
Finishing up our October 10-18 eight day on Shogun, we fished Turtle Bay for nonstop Yellows and then ten minutes later we were on Yellowfin on porpoise for the rest of the day. A phenomenal way to finish the trip!

We boarded the Apollo on Oct 26th for our annual 5 day trip to Guadalupe with JJ and that afternoon JJ was told that Guadalupe was closed to the SD Sportfishing boats.
So we fished Cedros for Yellowtail and offshore for Yellow Fin Tuna.
Anyway, I am sure we did not have all the details, but it was a bummer.
The weather last week at Guadalupe was not good. The Islander had a big chunk of its bow tore off when she was told to leave the Island in bad weather.
