If I'm working the deck, I hook and hand.

If I'm working the galley, I'm tag # 25
You're right, I read it wrong. Javier doesn't need your help anyways....

I knew you were on the Intrepid, but its cool the way you can run the biz by sat. Living the dream, just doesn't get much better.

Javier doesn't need any help at all. But by being in there and working as hard as I do in there, he has taken time to teach me things on cooking. I made cream of broccoli soup last night ala Javier, and it was a big hit. And dessert too.

Good for you David. You know the routine and can see customer service from both sides of the rail. Not too often you can land work doing what you know and love. This is the good karma coming back at ya.

David, take my word for it - your as good (if not the best) as they get! I was pleasantly shocked to learn you were deckking on my Sept. 6 day on the Intrepid (the one where Chad was roasted at dinner by my old fisihng bud). I've been riding these boats for over 30 years & believe me you may be having the "time of your life", but you're also a bungling anglers salvation. Everyone highly appreciated your work ethic & positive (not to mention very helpful) demeanor. You're a perect fit. Kevin has good judgement & the Intrepid has done itself a huge favor. Best of luck on your new career!

That sounds like a terrible back up plan, having to work on a sportboat where you have to either help people catch fish or even do yourself. Uggh, who would want that? And to have to do it almost everyday, especially now, when the fishing is clearly terrible.

The only downside is the time away, but otherwise, congrats on having a very nice back up plan.

BTW, I'm still going to bring way too much gear on my trips . Tackle box #1 (there are 2) weighs about 75# by itself.

Congrats to you David and I can't help but think of the marketing genius shown on the side of the Intrepid management team!
