Anyone else on Q105 11 day trip in Nov?

So, what, month and half out too soon to start a count down? Seems both too far away and really close at the same time. D@mn! Better order something else online. I hope Q105 has enough rod racks .

I know what you mean. I need to go on the trip soon or I'll buy more stuff . Dammit, just bought a raptor and bx2-500 for the trip (I rationalized those purchases as my 7 day was cancelled earlier this year and I had money left over from that). Might sell the raptor though, still in box. Very small reel, but somehow holds 300+ of 60-65# braid. Tough to decide on that one.

Because of our trip last year I also have a bunch of dorado and mint pattern iron . Bought a bunch of iron for wahoo/tuna from someone earlier this year. Now I think my tackle box is approaching 100# all by itself!

What new stuff did you buy that is over the top?

I have (and most of these are over the top I think):
- about 10 different poppers
- another 5 different stickbaits (but these worked real well on tuna on the one time I took them out)
- about 50 new iron lures - ugh they are heavy, but they were cheap
- extra-heavy custom-made swimbaits - for slow trolling
- chum-king setup - for turning on the Yellowtail at night - maybe
- kite - in case they aren't using one
- the aforementioned new reels (raptor and bx2-500)
- also 2 new cabo 80 spinners with upgraded drags - can't beat the value on those things - 30# of drag, 400 yds of 80#, for under $200
- portable chair
- mini-video camera (got that last year, but such a gadget it deserves to be mentioned here)
- bait-o-matics for wahoo - hopefully not too late in the year
- so many hooks, so many. All ringed, maybe I should start making them
- a bunch of windon leaders (from basil and jaknkona)

And I think I'll buy stock in fluorocarbon makers. I must be keeping them in business.

Still looking to buy an sds, in the process of building the rod for it. Dont even know if I will use it if the lowers banks arent biting. Bought a b2-30, bx2-400, jx6/3. Sold a couple other reels, have about 20 surface irons in moslty birdshit, mint and b/w, 30 small and large 6xs in various colors. 15 wahoo jigs, only 1 bomb though. Might get more. Picked up 2 marauder type lures, need to wire them. Picked up a bunch more sinkers. Need more spectra, more flouro, a few more cow type hooks. Changed out all the hooks on the jigs to owner stingers. Ringed all the hooks I own. Also picked up another 10' jig blank that I just dont have the energy to wrap at the moment. Plus have no reel for it either. Will probably just wrap it for next season. So yeah im getting close to being ready, but not quite there yet.
