That Guy was on my trip aboard the Pacific Queen a few weeks back. We awoke at gray light to a nice Striper dancing slaying some macs. Well, That Guy figured he'd be all over this Marlin at our first paddy stop. So ignoring the deckhand he goes right into the reciever, net in hand, and pins a nice 12" mac on ye ole coffee grinder. Sure enough, the mac swam freely in/out/over and under everyone lines at the stern. That Guy managed to tangle more than half the boat on the first stop!!! I went to the bow and started tossing iron laughing my ass off the entire time. Needless to say Mike and Bill were not too happy with That Guy.

I went on a 3/4 day trip off the san diego, and THIS GUY comes on the boat with 8 fishing rod/reels. AM like WTF!! He then proceeds to take up most of the rod racks that had like 50 ppl already.. Amazing, I dont even bring that much gear on a 5 day trip.

Yesterday i had the pleasure of ,not fishing with that guy, but fishing with THOSE GUYS. Went Open party LIMITED LOAD(32). I have never seen so many, so clueless. THOSE GUYS
have never heard of the tuna shuffle and when you try to explain it to them, they look at you like you just fucked their sister. Also. when did a 2 piece spinning rod become the weapon of choice while tuna fishing off shore? I watched tangle after tangle occur in the corner, THOSE GUYS did it on almost every stop. Finally one of THOSE GUYS got tired of being tangled on every stop, so he goes to the downwind side and lets it fly. Suddenly he's bit and winds that 2 piece like a mofo. About the same time Another one of THOSE GUYS on the other side of the boat, gets bit and now his 2 piece rod has a nice bend on it. I stood there shaking my head and tell one of THOSE GUYS that he has caught his buddy on the other side of the boat. I am then told "I've caught alot of tuna, and this is a tuna". I put mty rod in the rack and enjoy the show. If you happen to fish with THOSE GUYS, well...enjoy Bugman

Not all anglers are top notch sticks. I was on that trip you just mentioned, it was slow to say the least. At the same time 32 anglers paid for the services of the Captain and crew, no mater how talented they are.
Frankly, I thought the "angler" who was very pushy and attached to the hand wells between stops, wearing the Booyaa gear was "that guy".
I tried to stay out of the way, yes it was a cluster fuck, those folks can not help themselves the don't know better. Common courtesy is more important than the number of fish you catch.
I am sure you had no idea bcause you had your blinders on, tunnel vision "ALBACORE" every time the boat stopped, but dude not only were you pushy to the inexperienced anglers, you were pushy to the kids that were aboard. Its ashame the boat left the dock with you as the 33rd angler.

Overnight boats would never leave the dock without 32 paying passengers.

the irony is that there are a lot of "that guy"'s posting in this thread.
"That Guy" usually likes to talk about how great he is on the internet.

They want that fish for their fish count and you want that fish for your dinner plate.
