It has to be fun. Do not even try to fish. Just go out on a boating trip and try to have fun bouncing around. Try to make the boat rock like a amusement ride. My son tried everything and then went to drinking beer and it relaxed him. I do not think he was smoking anything but beer seems to relax him and he gets heavy into fishing.

X2 or 3 or 4, whatever....Tried everything else pretty much: dramamine, ginger, not eating/drinking and still used to start ing about 1/2 our out then all day....Got the patch and it works like a charm. At the worst might feel nauseous but haven't ever puked with the patch. Eat and drink all day long-worst side effect is dry mouth....

Scopace Pills are the best. Get a prescription from your Doctor.
Works like a charm in 20 to 30 minutes. I have tried them all and this is the one that works.

RX Scopalamine patch behind the ear, never get on a boat without one. Never been sick since using them. When I was younger never got sick, but the inner ears aren't what they were as a teenager, probably too much loud music. Nothing worse than being sick on a boat, the only cure is an old oak tree.

Nice to know I,m not the only wuss that got seasick. SCOPACE!!! my doctor said Mylanta. No really, he said you could supplement Bonine if conditions worsened. Only it could make you tired. What an idea. take Bonine an hour before bedtime on the boat!

I too suffer and have to take pills everytime I go out just in case. I use the slow release Gravol. It releases 25MG immediately and then the rest over a 12 hour period. I find I can do a whole day without feeling drowsy.
Try it - its worked for me for 7 years now.

No one remedy works for everyone. The SCOPACE patches seem to be the best RX remedy but some still get sick even with them...and they're not cheap. Others take ginger tabs, pills or suck on the candy pops. I've seen the electronic wrist bands work as well as the new Quease Ease inhalers. I keep most OTC remedies in my bag in case someone gets sick. You never know which one will work. Just try them and see which one is best for you.

The best cure for sea sickness is catching fish!

Ron has it pretty straight up. I don't always get it, but when I do, I can put on a patch and be good to go. You can actualy feel the stuff going into your system.

Use the patch, follow the directions. Take a Bonine tab a couple hours before going out. Since my Dr put me on that combo, bulletproof.
