Question Anyone ever fished on the Holiday?

Just wondering? Thinking about taking a trip. Prices seem reasonable so it's probably not the most luxurious boat. If you've been on board please give me the lowdown. Thanks

When Gloria owned it and Ben before that . I haven't been on it with the new owner. But the boat itself rides great in the water. Low and slow the way I like it. Rick Pollack was a good skipper. That was years ago.

Met Lefty " Lefty25" at LongBeach, He has committed himself to the challenge! Great crew, Ricky & Josh are 2 really great guys! Capt Randy & his wife Karen work great together & always manage to get us on the fish!

I went on the Holiday in January and April of this year and had a awesome time. Randy works really hard to put you on the fish. Ricky doesn't work on the Holiday anymore, but Josh, Nate and Tommy are very helpful.

Eduardo did a really good job serving up homemade dishes.

I highly recommend this boat because I know Randy is going to kill the Albies as soon as he gets out there. His prices are very reasonable and he usually raffles off free trips. I plan on going on this boat again once I get back from a 8 day on the RR3(depatrs July 4th).

See you then..

Ricky is back on the boat. Spoke to him on Thursday. I did 2 bottom fishing trips this year. My first time on a 1.5 trip. Limits both trips. Randy worked hard to get us on the fish. Josh did a great job on the fillets. I plan on doing one of the 2.5 or 3.5 day trip in July or August. Also got an email today that they reduced the prices for the 5.5 and 6.5 day trips.

Wow Don! Rick must have been YEARS AGO... I fished on his vessel, The Pursuit, out of Whatkatane, NZ about 5 years ago... we fished a 5 dayer on his boat and caught Yellowtail ("kingies") up to 68 pounds!

Nice guy
