Randy and crew are great and get you on the fish. The ride was fine, and yes it's an older boat. I had a problem last year when I booked a month ahead for a 3 day trip for the holiday weekend and when got to the boat, they had changed it to 1 1/2 day trip to max out the boat at 36 people without notifying us at the last minute. Gloria was the owner then. I hope they changed and at least give you notice with refund so can schedule some place else.

Lonnie its a completely different management team as well as ownership. The boat has been completely remodeled from the inside out, The Crew is pretty new with a couple of old faces, Randy is still behind the wheel. The problems of the past are just that, the amount of car and attention the boat gets now as well as its customers is a complete 180 of where it was. This year we have set goals to give you guys the best attention possible ranging from bookings, to setting up events on the boat so that you get more bang for your buck, as well as upgrading the galley and staterooms for more comfort. If you guys have any questions in regards to the boat please feel free to PM me or Lefty25 who is the new owner (Sean G) or check out the website at holiday.choicesportfishing.com .

In my experience you get what you pay for. Its a cheap ride to the grounds. I rode the boat this past winter and I did not see any change from the old 'Holiday Rambler' days. You get what u pay for...

Phil the winter time is when the boat was being taken over by the new ownership so not many changes had been made at that point all of the changes that were done took place in late Feb-Mid March, So if you have been on the boat since, then i wouldnt expect that you would have seen them. As you can see there are plenty of people with tons of fishing experience that are willing to jump on and those people who we are very grateful for having as repeat customers. I hope that you will give the boat another chance upgrades will be made as time and money permits to make sure that the quality of your experience the next time around will be a better one. There has a been changes in staff with the deck hands and galley crew, these guys have tons of experience in the water and will be there to ensure a good clean day of fishing.

Hey Phil,
I purchased the boat late October '08. Like Jessie said the aesthetic upgrades werent completed until March of this year. Odd and ends were replaced and brought up to speed last year, but nothing the naked eye would've noticed, unless you were there to see it. You would definitely notice a difference now, hopefully we will see you again so you can see for yourself.
As for getting what you paid for, I guess that's true in some circumstances. Just not this one. We are doing whatever we can as a fleet to reduce prices to give people an opportunity to get out and fish. Service levels to not diminish as a result of lower ticket prices whatsoever on my boat or anyone elses for that matter. Its tough out there right now for everyone, just trying to do our part to help reduce the blow. Hope to see you out there sometime Phil.

Like i have mentioned before on several accations. This boat is very comfortable, new engines, fishes great, especially on the slide, hint hint! It has a great skipper, crew, holds a butt load of bait, smooth ride, large galley, Lots of walk around room around galley to bow, crows nest, and an awesome owner who knows what it takes to keep the angler happy and the fish coming over the rail. I give it a big thumbs up, and to anyone that might wanna it.

Remember back to when you where a kid and your momma said. Johnny eat your chicken, if you try it you might like it. From then on it was one of your favorites things to eat. Just try it, i think you will like it.
