Shogun, June 19

Anyone on the Shogun 5-dayer, leaving next Friday? Hopefully we can find some of those Blue Fin Tuna!

I'm on there too!! I can't wait!!! I just picked up my first Avet, I'm going to test it out on this trip. Sure would be nice to bump into either those Blue Fin or the Albies on the way down and/or back!!!

Yeah, I got that fish on my 5 day last year, same time of year, down at Cedros. Ended up 48# at the docks. It wouldn't be bad if we hooked a couple of those too!! Cedros definitely has a nice grade of fish as well as variety!!
I've seen a few big Halibut caught down there too. Last year we had a few and the year before this guy landed a 50# Halibut on my first trip out on the Shogun!

I picked up an LX 6/3 and matched it with a 6470. I plan on using 40# with it. I can't wait!!! It would be nice to get into some of those fish the Excel found!!
