| Rice Bowl Islander 5 day w/ Rice Bowl Girl Shy
Poncherello here again writing this for Fred (Rice Bowl) as they departed for their Ultra Limited Load 5 day trip this morning. Only 18 headed out today with an unfortunate last cancellation late last light night. Could have been on this trip if it weren't for work. Work seems to always be in the way when the oppurtunity rises.
Just about everyone on this trip I have fished with and are a great group of anglers. Some who fish with RiceBowl Charters are loyal bloodydeckers, so here are some of the pics that a couple bloodydeckers on the boat today wanted to share.
Today's Rice Bowl Girl Shy, drove from the OC this morning and did her meet and greet. Don't be fooled by her name folks. Along with her great photogenic skills, she is also a PADI certified diver and word is she will be on the 2009 12 dayer. HMMMM
Also are some pics of the giveaways that were to be handed out on the trip. Thank God I showed up late this morning. They unloaded 3 carts full of giveaways. Fred wanted to give a huge THANK YOU to all of his sponsers for giving what they did, especially during these tough times. There will be some serious happy fisherman for sure!
Due to the scratchy fishy these last few days, I believe they will hit Cedros and eventually work their way up offshore. They arrive back on the dock on Wed. so we should get a report either Wed. night or Thurs.
Lets wish then the best!!

Just got back from a trip on the Rooster and when we left we were across from Fred and the Islander at the bait dock....those guys looked like they were ready to rip....both Shane and John were running the boat and they were very picky in the bait they were taking........I thought I saw them hit a tank of really nice ANCHOVEY.....sounds like a little offshore for Albies and Yellow Fin Tuna on the way down.
Great Temp break going on with Yellow Fin Tuna on one side and Albies on the other......it is a good time to be on the water. Lots of breaking fish....sometimes they rip and sometimes they don't but alot of life out there.
Rice Bowl in Mid August-------Oh Yeah

Scuse me, but was that a couple of bottles of Bombay Saphire Gin on the shelf? If that's a giveaway, I'll share if you do.
