Here is a short trip report.
We left seaforth at 10pm, mark the skipper came down and we all decided to go look out side for kelp. In the morning we started trolling and got a lot of bonita. At the first kelp we got 4 or 5 yellowtail and that how it went all morning 2 to 5 yellows a stop. around noon we neaded inland for lings and bottom fish. the rest of the day was spent there at 90 miles down. That night we moved to about 120 miles down.mark has some great spots where we limited on big reds and lings. that night we had a vote on weather to fish the coast or go back outside, outside won. In the morning we started trolling and got a lot of bonita again. there were large kelp all the way back but we only got 2 yellowtail out of them. I had a great time and think that mark and the crew are some of the best people i have fished with. One more thing the chef jeff makes better meals than most resturants serve.I want to thahk the crew of the pacific voyager for a great trip.I highly recommend them if you want to fish a great boat.
