8 day on the rooster

Hey BDers my name is Alec I am a 15 year old kid who has saved for 2 years to go on my dream trip. It is a 8 day on June 19. I was just wondering if anyone was going on it and what to expect fish wise. I heard albacore, yellowfin, maybe bluefin tuna, and yellowtail. I also heard not so much wahoo.

Alec,

There is a huge thread about this trip

Go to California Board and look at Non - BD Charters

It looks like you are fishing with George and the rest of the boys on the Thom Hultgen

Here is the link

Have fun

Kid saves up for two years and he gets punished by going fishing with George he he he. Alec, just do everything the opposite of George and you should come home with more fish than you can give away.

Remember normal people don't act like those guys........

Have fun. Maybe you will get lucky and go to the rocks.....wahoo can be there.

Can you stand up to heavy drags? If so, take a minimum of 80# for the Yellowtails at Alijos. That one is a toad you are holding in the picture. You can get by with 60# on the tuna. Hope you have a great trip.
