| Perfection my ass!
lately all the rods I've been building I've been using higher end guides, And man I've become spoiled. I'm doing a couple of rods now and the customer is bustin' cheapo and (sorry Chris ) just wants to use Perfection guides These things are pure crap, The rings are welded crooked, The feet are bent and burred, It takes longer to dress one of these POS than it does to wrap 3 of the higher end guides.. OK rant off back to work

Bill,
That's exactly why I rarely use them. They do work OK but I too think the quality of them sucks big time. I only use them nowadays if a customer absolutely insists on them. Randy.

The underside of the feet are concave to match the radius of a rod etc. etc. These perfection pieces of crap are a couple of stainless wires welded together and cut to size with dikes or something. The extra time it takes to grind and bend them into the proper shape makes them cost more than good guides. I'm done with them after these 2 rods I'm doing now
