First Marble Job

Sorry about the pic's Guys. It looks 100% better looking at it..I'm pleased with it being my first test marble job,run on a cut off peice of blank.
I just cannot get this lighting right for this camera. What do you think?

Good eye for color. I hate it when I see a rod that obviously took a very long time to build, but looks like it should be in the hands of a Cincinnati pimp.

Thanks for the fine comments Bro's..AND SISTER'S JULIE

This comes second nature to me,I've been drawing and painting off and on all my life and this is right up my alley.
I remmember last spring I was talking to scott about building a few rods for me and I told him I was going to do those flames and the marbling that he does so well..So Scott if your reading this ,Thanks for the inspiration in doing such fine work,I'll will make it a standard to go by on each rod..Kenny

Along with all the rest of the fine rod builders on this board, special thanks for all the help you give out, without it alot of people would be in a world of hurt.

Just Got done with the 85,and Bros I'm here to tell ya this is awesome..
Same colors as above,( came from the King James Bible )to match the guides and wraps, with a flaming stick appearance.as you can see in the pics above somewhat..aka FlameKeeper..
post pics as soon as I get her completed.
