single wrap vs double wrap?

i'm on the verge of getting a rod wrapped soon. need your thoughts about whether to go single wrap or double wrap. rod is going to be used for inshore duties. local bass and barries. stuff like that. fishing 15-20 lb test. thoughts? thanks in advance!

For 15-20# I would double wrap it. It doesn't add much weight and the cost shouldn't be too much higher. Any particular reason you want to single wrap it? What color(s) are you going to have it wrapped in?

I always double wrap saltwater rods... freshwater, single.

go double some older manufactured sticks that i have rewrapped were double wrapped until you go heavier double will suit just fine...good luck on the build and make sure to talk to a couple of rodbuilders for reputation and work...better, would be a nice starter rod to learn the craft

double for sure. get a seeker 270h-8 or a 270-8 with a newell p-229 and 25 pound test. you could use a setup like that all summer on a 1/2 day and never need a diffrent one. my favorite set up when im not working
