Suggestions for a 9' rubber rod?

What would ya'll recommend? Need something light. Don't see to many graphite blanks that are 9'. Going to use it for throwing rubbers. Planning on wrapping it with no foregrip. Perhaps poodle grip the blank to reduce weight. Any info/suggestions will greatly help. Thanks in advance!

i like pac-bay, they make a 1087 that is nice and 100% graphite and lifetime. Pheonix is coming out with some new stuff that I have been playing around with, and talking to the new owner. There new saltwater rods have no memory and are super light. They have one 9' rod they will be bringing out that is a perfect 20lb rubber rod....

Shikari SW966, SW908, or SW909. Performance Tackle had some of these blanks left. Otherwise try ATC (advanced tubular composites), they bought Shikaris mandrels and are making the blanks using the same numbers.

I understand the aversion to 2 piece rods, but basically over 7' I have transport problems. Is the only choice in long heavy rods to chop and sleeve them yourself?

the pacbay 1087 is great.. if you need a little more backbone, I have a 1089 that's money. It is a quite bit heavier though..

I think they make a 1088, but not positive

A couple of good choices: Seeker 908, Calstar 900xl, or get one of those CUI 11' ers and cut two feet off the butt.
