Thank you to all the BloodyDeckers out there for your prompt assistance. I got home from work tonight and Scott left a message on my answering machine requesting that I call him. After our telephone conference I am
pleased to report that Scott has
given me his word that I will have my rod in a week and a half. Scott was
very apologetic and explained that he encountered some personal and business issues which temporarily adversely impacted his rod building business. I understand that people have to "do what they've gotta do" to get by and I have been advised that my rod will be completed and shipped forthwith.
In closing, it appears that rod building is a tough industry. I am willing to give Scott the benefit of the doubt to "make good" on our deal in order to preserve his reputation. I will keep you informed as to what transpires. Once again, thank you all for your assistance.
P.S. As of now, don't be too hard on Scott. He
is a gifted and talented guy. At this time I remain willing to give him an opportunity to redeem himself. To all others out there looking for Scott - he has been so informed and is aware other people need to get in touch with him. Scott is taking this situation seriously and is in the process of contacting everyone. Scott is highly aware of what he needs to do and is committed to making everyone happy.
