what blanks do you guys think are similar in action and performance to the 8 foot shimano calcutta series rods for throwing the plastics?

looking for blanks thanks...rainshadow has a few with similar ratings but they are e-glass/graphite blend.

earlier series calcutta rods ( built in Washington ) were built on loomis blanks i believe. some of my favorite rods. i'm planning on building a rod for plastics on a calstar 700 xl blank.

Ernie, look for a Loomis 1085
or a Tallon rod, made by a guy who was bought out by Loomis to make rods for them, kinda hard to find but they are close
