| La Mesa Rod Building Classes
Since Don (orca) isn't going to be hosting the rod building classes untill next year Ken (the bushman) and I want to host clases at my house for any one that is interested. We will have two lathes and all of the tools and materials. I'll also have snacks and drinks. The classes will still be held on Tuesdays at 5:30 until whenever.

Keith,
I live in nearby, in San Carlos, and have a couple of $ 50 -100 rods that could use a "tune-up", guide replacement. Nothing fancy needed, just utilitarian, lots of use kinda thing. I've "wrapped" a couple of eyes in my time but I like the action on these rods enough to try to give them a few more years of service and would like a more professional job. Any interest?

Allen.... you just dug up a post from Nov. 06.... check out the rod building thread that is at the top of this forum. There is a Tues class that is ongoing at Don's (Orca) house in Mira Mesa.
