I'm interested

How much $ are we talking about? What all do we need for the class? Wrapper? Thread? Flex-coat? Nipple-clamps? Ooops wrong class.

I'll be there. I can bring my power wrapping table and a smaller manual wrapper, although we may not need these for the first class. I also think we might want to break it into 2 classes. The first one for tools, parts selection, proper splining, guide placement, and handle installation. The second class we can do actual wrapping and flex coat application. Just an idea.

It would be great if a few of the guys who want to wrap their own rods could go to Squidco and get the parts to bring so we could have a couple of rods to demonstrate on. For example, we could teach how to install a hypalon and reel seat handle on one rod and then a cork tape handle on another. If any of you guys who want to wrap one up want to contact me I can tell you what stuff to get before hand. Squidco has a bunch of Seeker blanks right now for less than $30. You can get set up with basic stuff for $50-60.

Nate, I owe purplehaze a rod (800m). The guy that's supposed to be wrapping it is major league butt draggin. I'll see if I can get all the stuff from him and use that one as one of the example rods.
