Check out the Seeker booth at the FHS. Those new brown blanks are gorgeous. Unfortunately it looks like they won't be available for about 3 more months and by then I'll be fishing, not twirling blanks. I'm definitely adding one to my arsenal next winter though.

I saw 'em, too. I agree with Chris...bitchin'
I pulled on an 870 blank and one of the fellas in the Seeker booth bent the tip back in a circle without breaking it. I was impressed and horrified at the same time.

Heard abut them a while ago. They sure sound cool , can't wait to wrap one. Are they graphite ? s glass ? Any idea of the cost ?

they are S-Glass graphite composite and when and if they go into production they will be 20-25% more then the black steel rods and blanks .

saw a prototyped Ulua "Lightning". was supposed to be one of only eight made. too much rod unless you're 7' tall and weigh 350lbs with harry knuckles lol! sure was purdy tho...
