That thing is sweet. I like the work on the butt. Kool colors too. Good job.

I just finished my first jig stick not to long ago too. It's a Calstar 900H. I had quite an issue with the glue when doing the cork. It was EVERYWHERE! I think it turned out ok tho.

those guides are off



thats pretty nice, thats the colors of all the rods I do for myself, sick colors, but in a 3 color fade. Thats one nice stick, with good materials, those CXBBG guides are sick looking, the exact same ones I got on my jig sticks.

Bocker watch those guides and keep em ASAP when you are done fishing. In fact I would load them up with CX before going out.

I've heard the rings like to pop out as well...... All after the fact of course.

Hind sight, I would like to have used the chromies like Stringer.

Had mine on some rods for like 2 years+, fished em' every hard, they stil look new, maybe you talkin about the PAC BAY ones, I wouldn't touch those. The CXBG & CXBBG are made by perfection.
