| GUSA 70HP In Progress
Working on a new live-bait set-up. GUSA 70HP(20-50 lb) with split grip hypalons and purple aluminum reel seat and gimbal. I got a purple Avet SX Raptor for it and the anodizing on the reel perfectly matches the purple on the Perfection reel seat. The set-up will be faily light and it's going to be used for 40lb line most likely.
Thread (all Gudebrod size A): White NCP, Blue Dune NCP, Purple NCP, Steel Blue Metallic.
So far I've got the handle assembly done and the threadwork on the split grip is done. The guides are laid-out but no thread for those yet.
I can't say thanks enough for this forum and rodbuildingtutorials.com. Thanks Raymond for the bitchin website. I printed all the tutorials and work with them next to me and it definately helps to see them as I'm going along.
I'll post pictures as the rest develops. I'll be doing a tiger wrap for the butt-wrap and I think it will turn out pretty nice with these colors. We'll see.

Mike,
Looks great. I'd definitely say you've got the inlays down. Should look killer when finish is onboard. Randy.

Finished my design for the underwrap on the guides. 1 down, 8 to go. Now that I know what I'm doing on it the rest should go pretty smoothly.

Way to go Mike! Glad the Library website is helping with ya getting off to a good start. That's what it's all about and thanks to all the other builders contributing tutorials and their content.

Bottom layer of the tiger wrap is on. The underwap on the guides is almost finished. By mid-next week I hope to have this one knocked out. The finish looks crappy on this layer of the tiger because I used my brush to wipe off all the excess to keep it bubble free. I'll smooth it out nice on the next 3-4 coats. The colors are blue dune, purple, and white. All NCP size A.

| Project Completed
Finally got it finished about a week ago but my girlfriend took her camera to Germany so here are the belated pictures of the final product. This is my first tiger wrap without a metallic color on the bottom. I kinda like it. I got a purple Avet SX Raptor to match and it is one light-weight but strong set-up. Too bad I have to wait a little while to put it to good use, but at least it looks nice in the corner of the room.

That is some nice work.As much as I try to grasp the concept of how to do these wraps I cant get it.
