Taking shots!

Ya know, One of the reasons I really like this forum is the lack of strict "panzy waist" moderating. One doesn't have to act like their in Sunday School for fear of getting edited or banned. One can speak their mind.

Having said that, while taking pot shots at individuals, other forums, or other things can at times be a bit funny and entertaining they generally do not do anything constructive. Most times they can be even borderline insulting to many who are not even part of the pissing match!

So, to promote world (and forum peace) I put a game file on my Library website that just may help. Next time one feels they need to take shots at someone they should go to The Rod Builder's Library - Taking Shots!
and download the little game and take their frustrations out there not here! If you don't have MSExcel just use any excel reader they are free & all over the net.

Raymond - you are absolutely right. The "Usual Suspects" started the thread you refer to, and more of them joined in as it continued.

Not one bit of that, other than Dave's attempts to explain his ideas, does any service at all to help us build better rods. I guess the egos of some outweigh the purpose of the rest.

Ah, well, I got to level 10.

! I'm loving you more all the time Raymond.

I reckon I haven't been around long enough to appreciate the history involved. I didn't find the thread all that nasty. Then again I have no problem "fighting" about the best solution to a problem. There is always more than one to skin a cat and it is only natural to defend the method that works best for you. I have learned, and found help, here as well as Tom's forum.

In keeping with the topic of the post I'll include a couple of links. Being a target shooter I'm not so keen on taking aim at my fellow man. Maybe some of you will find these enjoyable. The first one is challenging and the second one is easy.
