I did some field testing of the protos and liked them a lot. I also have a few of the production models and they're great!

I have built about 50 rods on Rainshadow blanks and in my opinion they are the best for the money and better than most at any price.

I only fish Rainshadow rods when fishing bass, not because I'm sponsored by them, but because I believe that they are the best blanks on the market. Bill Batson and his staff spare no expense in R&D and they have a series of blanks that are second to none.
You'd be surprised at the major manufacturers that Batson Enterprises makes blanks for.
Give them a try, you won't be sorry...

They're really good blanks, and not very expensive. I have made several for customers and I like them so much that I now carry them at my shop.

Awesome! The 822.5 is proving to be deadly inside the bay! Lightweight, sensitive and lots of backbone. I've not been dissapointed with Batson yet.

In the short time I have been trolling these sites, I don't see a lot of guys using them, mostly Calstars and Seekers. Zombie is about to wrap one for me as an 8'ft jig rod. Get well Randy!
