Why not wrap all the way to the tip?
Funny you should ask. This was a re-wrap of a rod I'd screwed up earlier. I had to shorten the blank about 3/4 of an inch because the tip dried out of alignment. Which meant the guides all had to be relocated. That resulted in a couple of places where guides used to be, showing scrapes and scratches from removal of the previous wraps. So, I figured I'd just do a bunch of tigers as practice and keep the rod around to show the style. Didn't plan on someone wanting it. There's only about 4 inches of blank exposed on the entire rod, so it's almost totally wrapped now.
