Seeker

There is a CSB907 listed in the blank catalog but it is not a Super Seeker blank. Compsite,,,,9' ,,, 25# ,,,medium action. More of a bait rod.

I found a guy who has one to show me. It is a SS and it's brand new med action casting blank. Said to be just like the regular composite but lighter in weight and faster in action.

Checked it out today. It wasn't built and not for sale. He said the first real order for these was placed by a builder in NY and should be in sometime in Nov.. It's a nice blank! He also had a CSW908 which he said is the same material as a SS but it had a faster action. I'm looking for a nice 9' for use in the surf so I think the SS907 is the one,I like the way it bends! it's a nice med action.

I talked to Randy from Seeker Rods a little while back about the Blue Lightning inshore series blanks. He told that these are made with same materials as the Super Seeker blanks. The inshores are just more stiff and have a faster action than the SS series jib/bait blanks.

Yes, I agree. The inshore blues are faster in action. Both are nice but are very different! The guy even said they are S-glass like the SS not E-glass and showed me inside the butt you can see the green S-glass!! I like the the SS CSB907 so I reserved one!! Maybe the 908 will be for the next build! He had a bunch of 10' blanks as well that were nice!!

I think Billy is the one who help design the new Seeker Hercules series blanks. Randy.

The SS-CSB907 isn't listed on his site link. It looks like the Hercules is a boat type rod? Anyhow This guy has some on order so I'll get one from him, He's a surf fishing guy and has a bunch of different Seeker surf rods!! Thanks

Billy Vivona developed the Hercules series with Seeker. The 60H and 60XH are sweet jigging rods for tuna and the 70H is a longer rod with plenty of power for bottom fishing. The other two blanks are inshore blanks with serious power to them! I've built up 3 of the 60H's (2 spiral, 1 spinner) and they are very sweet!

The CSB907 is not one of his blanks.
