New Super Seekers for me

These are the last 3 for my La Paz trip leaving on Fri.

The first is a CJBF80. On this one I cut 3" off the butt and sanded the blank down to get a #19 perfection reel seat to fit. I installed an 8" piece of EVA for the rear grip and a 14" front grip and now it's as lite as a feather. This gets paired up with an Icee Blue Accurate 270.

Next up a 2x4 "greenie" Didn't do anything to this one other than build it. This will get a BX2-30.

The last is a SSCJBF80H. I cut 6" off the butt on this and installed the same components and grips as the CJBF80. This one is also a super lite now. This gets an Accurate Extreme 500.

Nice looking set-ups. Good luck on the trip.

When you talk about sanding down the blank to put on a smaller reel seat, how much material are you taking off to do that? Does it cause a weak spot where your reel seat is going? Or is the effect of taking the material off balanced out by the fact that you're surrounding it with epoxy and aluminum? Just curious.

Perfect once again... I am hoping you can come down to Don's Tuesday night class when I get back in december for another tutorial... I think i have enough experience to better grasp your technique.

I want to get some experience on something other than Tigers for the butt wrap...
