I think I'm going crazy...

Last night I dropped a spring from my carriage - I was pretty sure it fell into my alps printer that was sitting on the floor. So, I've torn the room apart looking for it - didn't turn up. So I dismantled the printer, but still no spring...

Anybody been able to buy them at hardware stores or anything? All we have here is HD, Lowes, and Ace hardware - so I'm a bit limited...

usually you can find a limited selection of springs at lowes in the hardware section
