NOt really, even with unibutter all over me, i mean my hands.

One thing about these grips i found is that the engery is displaced through the grips and to the rod when casting, which give me more distance and i,m on target when casting. Unlke foam and cork with sucks in the energy not releasing it through the rod.

The grips are something i believe everyone should try just once, its awhole new ball gane when casting. If anyone what to fish one of these rods, let me know.. or at least try casting em, i can meet ya at shelter island and you can fire it out a few times.

I,m telling you guys, these rods are not like the old rods i got and they sure are sweet
