Jeezo Peezo

I have been busy as sin due to the fishing news that has rocked the Bass world. If you are really bored, you can read about it here:

Two brothers came in and wanted some monster swimbait rods built.
One 7Xh with silver and black,

and one black and gold 4Xh.

I have been using some shading with the tigers; in this case two shades of gold: HT matte gold, and Rice gold, along with black. There looks like there is silver in there, but I did not use any other color except black.
These tigers continue to amaze me the way each one has it's own "personality".

This is silver Rice, with matte silver, and black base, black overwrap.
This one really looks good in person (yeah, right, Capt. G).

The only real difference in the work orders was one wanted the skull centered on the base wrap color transition, and the other centered on the forward black base wrap. I usually have the customer sketch these type of details on the work order, so when they get the rod, the don't say "Hey, I wanted the skull on the buttcap".
