Rod repair needed

Howdy folks,

Newbie here.

I'm looking for the guy who used to repair rods for Noah's Tackle. I'm wondering if he is still in business. He did a pretty fair job for me on a couple sticks and I have more to fix.

I remember that he was a member of this site.

If I can't find him, I'll be looking for someone else in the San Diego area.

????? Any help ?????

On a related note: I really love the old Kencor Zebras and own several. The problem I've found is that they travel poorly. The guides break. I've lost rings on at least 5 rods. Need to rewrap em all. Anyone familiar with this problem?

Get with Don (Orca) on this site. I believe he did some work for Kevin. He's the man!

You're probably looking for Don who goes by "Orca" here. Here's a link to his contact page. You can PM or email him from this page --> http://www.bloodydecks.com/forums/members/orca.html

Edit: Sorry guys, we were all typing at the same time.

wire framed guides? I've dealt with a lot of that, but i know mine is from neglect, especially if you throw em in the back of your truck

Foam pipe insulation makes a great padding for rods in a pickup
