Well you all know how I love tigers these days and most of the time I slam these things on a rod and rub a dub dub they alway come out nice. On this one I have no idea what I did wrong. Maybe I used different size threads, maybe I wrapped the same direction on the open layer. All I got was a bunch of wavy lines all the way down the rod, absolutely none of the abberant patterns I like so much. Not wanting to waste the time or materials I had alread used I decided to try to save it. I wrapped a second open layer, this time I was sure of the thread sizes and directions. End result was amazing and of course cant really be appreciated in these photos. Anyway it really lookes like two different patterns blended together. Lots of room here for experimentation gang. Give it a shot.
Next picture is of a weave that has been on my bucket list way tooo long. It is Chuch Byrons logo less the words. I had promised him to do it before he passed. Think maybe it will go on next years rod for Lori's Memorial Tournament.
Last picture is of my marbling and the secret is a pot of coffee some left over paint and finsh. So fun to experiment with.
