Another OC Rod Building Class is in the books! We spent the whole time setting up new sticks. Scott brought a blank he bought at C&M to install the rear grip, gimbal and reel seat. Myke (yes, Myke) had Super Seeker SS-CJBF-65H to install a foregrip on.
We were using the new way of glueing on grips with U-40 Rod Bond epoxy. I've switched from rubber cement and acetone because that toxic stuff was really not what my old body needs to be subjected to anymore. It was fun watching Scott try to install the rear grip...Just ask him how much fun it was.........lmao.
Here are a few pics of the rod building action!

Adam,
You need nothing but a little time. Many just showed up for a class and have started wrapping rods after seeing how fun it is. So, ya, just show up!

sorry i missed it, guys. looks like it was fun, as usual! Scott's expression only proves how important test fitting hypalon is before saying "This is the grip i want to use!"

I spent a retarded amount of time on installing the fore grip on my rod. Even used 90# of air to try to make an air bearing, only to find out that the ID was too small and it would never work!

Just realized i'll be at a trade show next week, so i'll be a no-show again.

Hey guys!
I will be showing tricks to doing single guide repairs at the next class on Wednesday the 15th. However, there will be plenty of time to ask other questions and techniques for all things rod wrapping!!!
