| Aunt passes away
[/QUOTE]Sorry guys I couldn't make it to hang out with the crew and learn so cool stuff. My Aunt was in the hospital on 'friday. Shefinally passed at 10:05pm. It was a really somber moment as we watched her take her last breath. It was hard to have to take her off the machine that was keeping her alive. we tried to keep her going till my cousin flew in from Oregon. She got in at 11pm which she was just a little late. I thnk the hardest part was telling her when she got off the plane and the drive back to the hospital. The good news is that she is no longer suffering and she is in a much better place. On Wednesday I probablly won't be there because of the funeral. So guys just do me a favor and pray for the family during these rough times.

Bill Batson from Batson Enterprises (Alps guides & reel seats, Rainshadow Blanks) came by for a visit yesterday......
Let's just say that tomorrows 'class' will be a little bit MORE fun than usual. If that's even possible. lol
See everyone tomorrow at 7pm.

Any special "theme" or tasks you're addressing tonight Bobby? I think I'm gonna bring you down some goodies too. Holler at me today if there's anything special that you need.

Well another great night learning about custom rod building has come and gone. We were happy to see nooobie Ed (Bowunter) show up. He was one of four lucky winners in the rod blank giveaways tonight! Bill Batson and Mark Griffin each donated 2 Rainshadow blanks and components for the class--Thanks guys!!!
Here are the pics of Ed, Damon, Paul, and John with thier new rod blanks that they won. Also, pictured are Eric, Mike and Wayne with the thread packages that Mark put together.
This was a wonderful night of sharing knowledge of rod wrapping and set-up techniques and a lot of bullsh**ing about the fishing we wished we were doing instead. There were 14 guys there in total...Maybe 20 will show up in 2 weeks???
Remember, the classes are always free. Just show up!!

That was fun last night. I wish I'd known that was BOWUNTR I was standing next to all night! A belated HI Ed! Saw a few faces that I didn't recognize. Were those all BD'ers Bobby?
The thread BTW was a donation from Robbie at FishHawk. He set us up after the WCCRS with a large donation for a number of charities, Scout Troops, etc... that we work with. Besides the couple of "grab bags" seen in the photo, there was also a 50+ spool thread assortment donated for "class use" (I'll find you here soon Don...).
That was a cool group and a good time. 1/2 learning, 1/2 BS'ing. Well worth checking out & hanging out if you can.
