Looks great Steve.... Its going to get tedious once you get down to the #10's and #8's and have to cram in all those colors into a 1/4 ". The silver rings in those Alps look cool. I may need some after all.... BTW, got your package, yours will go out shortly when I finish the two fly rods I'm doing on a rush job.

That's looks awesome Steve. I like reds and oranges so that fade is certainly OK in my book. Like Ken said, it's trickier with the tip area but the entire rod would look killer I'm sure like that. Are you building a set of those to complete your 32?

For info, I sent you a PM the other day. Got the guides (thank you), just checking to see if you received the check. Randy.

I like it alot!! Maybe just do the stripper guidelike that and then a combination of the colors for the rest of the guides so the fade kinda stands out as like a center piece, cuz that is a wrap in itself.

The wrapping/thread work is top drawer.
I like the very center of the underwrap, with the black.
But the orange to red fade looks very indistinctive on my computer screen.
It probably looks much more distinct (separation of colors) when viewed in person.

If the customer likes it, that is all that matters (surely more than my semi constructive criticism).

I thought about that when i was getting started but with the colors i picked i can drop a few colors on the smaller guides and it will still look really close. Emphasis on this rod will be the butt wrap.

Hey G, Color change is more apparent when looking at it but I'm going to change it so it's not so visible.

Nice, it will change color wise when you hit it with the CP so it may change the character a little
