Ken, can I come to Cedros and bring my 690J? Now I'm thinking I should bring my 90J down to you and have you change the handle over to match the one you just did for me.
Seriously dude, your work is sick.

Those Cedros yellows will test that rod to the max. Nice light stick. Be fun to fish albies with it eh ? Nice work as always, the layout, the handle, tear drop cap, components selected, all good.
what are you mounting up on that little gem ? Curado 300 would be trick.

Not sure what I'm putting on there.... maybe my Avet SX or MXJ, maybe my Trini 14 or 16. Too many rods and reels....I'll find something!!

I was thinking SX or trini would be tight. Black SX would look sweet on there, and would do a better job slowing down those big cedros 30# clones, curado would be a little underkill.

Nice rod Ken see how you like the Phenix blanks they are very strong and you can really pull on them i already have 5 rods wrapped with their blanks and need to wrap two more and i am waiting on the 8'6" and 9' models with the blank you got you could easily fish 30 line.

Looks great, the yellows will always bite better on a custom stick.
