I just went out and looked at it again and the more I look at it, the more I notice the subtle things that make this rod special. You guys have to believe me when I say this rod is truly amazing. Little things from the way that the thread is laid out to the way the wraps look when you realy move it around in the sun and see how some of the wraps are over more layers of finish than others is a very cool effect. I don't' know how you do this but I am glad I found someone with such talent. Guys, if you are thinking about getting a custom rod and want a truly one of a kind piece of art, call Randy. I hate to sound like an advertisement, but I can't say enough good things about the whole process from start to finish with Randy. Great rod, superb work, and a all around great guy. Tim is a lucky guy. Thanks again Randy.
