Randy, Very nice! As always your thread work looks so smooth. I like the faded tiger.
Pat, Looks like you should be able to slay any thresher around here with that rig. Wait till you load up that blank on a fish. We used Lee's earlier this year and each caught one on it. Works very well.
Mike

Thanks everyone.
Glenn,
Yeah, those decals I made myself on an Alps. Unfortunately, the cartridges are no longer available so I'll soon be out of luck. I've used Decal Connection in the past so I guess I'll be using them again in the near future. Randy.

Sweet rod Randy! Awesome as usual! Lots of time put in there....like the marbling touch on the guide wraps. What thread is the inlay on the black guide wraps?

Beautiful rod Randy. I have one question, for the epoxy ramp the the foregrip, do you shape the hypalon at all or just ramp up to the end?

Again, thanks for the comments. Hopefully I won't forget anyone here.
Ken,
The inlay is teal Sulky prizm. I like it because it's a little narrower than some of the other prizms. Lots of colors too.
Erik,
The 10' project Harnell will be just as nice.
Kerry,
Your absolutely right. Convince Pat.
Scott,
The way I do the ramps is to just notch about 1/4" wide end of the hypalon a little more than 1/8" deep. Put heat shrink tubing from the notch to the blank then coat with 5 minute epoxy. Wrap black thread then just build it up smooth with a couple coats of finish.
Randy.
