CP to prevent thread sliding

Is somebody using CP on the blanc before first wrapping to prevent thread sliding? Or it will be an obstacle for burnishing? I mean: CP should be dried off before wrapping.
Thanks

You can use CP but most normally don't for just basic wrapping. If your thread is sliding when your first trying to get it going then the tension might be too much. Back it off a little and see if that helps. Usually, once a wrap or two is overlapping the thread will stay on it's on. Hope that helps. If you can elaborate a bit more on exactly what your doing I'm sure someone here will have the answer. Randy.

Hi, Zombie!
I've already tried that. It's working! Starting end now easy to make parallel to blanc because it's becoming adhesive a little bit. It’s especially useful for short 3-4 turns of wrap.
Thanks for reply
