I sorta figured you might be :-)
Craigslist and garage sales can be really cheap for the things. Similarly, a Goodwill store near me had some too. If I had my druthers I'd be upgrading to a larger commercial oven in 120V, or maybe a tossed out kitchen oven. But for just rod stuff I've been fine with the toaster oven.
Look for one that is tall. Makes it easier to see things, allows for taller items, and allows more room for hands to not get burned

That is one great marbling job; the colors you chose go great together.

Randy,

I'm not sure what has happened. I got pretty burned out on rod building a few years back and Just stopped...Then the bug hit me again and this Marbling has really sparked my interest. It allows me to express myself and the color combinations and patterns are endless.

I have to say, I've seen your work and I have nothing on you..You've been an innovator. Its some of your work that lit the flame...

Thanks,
Bob

So you marbled, put the guides on, and then marbled only the leg wraps after? Why not marble just once after the guides are on?

Dave,

The answer to this is really simple....I had never done it before..Once I did it, I came up with more ideas for next time around.
