Got to see one of those at the rod workshop in April - real slick weight adjustment in the butt grip as well. The wood grips are really nice - Mountain Juniper I think is what Stan or Putter said - can't remember. Makes me wonder what is inside the chunk I have drying in the garage - it was supposed to be a fish whacker but if that juniper is that pretty turned - I might have to think about doing something else with it.

thanks for sharing the pics - I can understand sleeping with machine guns, but fishing poles? JK
