well ive lost my guourd no dryer for my rods so i cant put finish on them and i want to do more marbling so might as well marble a reel or two, prototype marbling on a daiwa sealine x40sha on the two side plates kind of know what to do know so im gonna try it on my 50 and see what happens also gonna do a spinning reel today also will post pics when done,

Mark; I never use a drying motor when finishing a rod. Just turn the rod every few minutes 180 degrees for the first hour and a half. It should be set up enough by then that you can leave it. If you see sags in the finish in the beginning just wick them off with your brush or spatula. I usually let mine sit for about ten minutes then turn it after wicking off any sag.
